How to break free from fear and permanence and embrace change

When we’re overwhelmed by stress and panic, it’s easy to believe that everything is permanent — the struggles, the situations, or even the expectations we impose on ourselves. This mindset often leads us to hold tightly to what feels familiar, hoping to maintain control, and avoiding conflict at all costs.

But life is inherently fluid. Recognizing this is the first step to easing the pressure. Remind yourself: nothing is permanent — not your current challenges nor the feelings they bring. Lean into the discomfort of change by focusing on the present moment rather than worrying about an imagined future.

Practice letting go gradually. Start small: allow a routine to shift or have an open, honest conversation you’ve been avoiding. Growth often lies on the other side of discomfort.

The more we embrace life’s impermanence, the more peace and confidence we’ll find in its natural ebb and flow.
